A Runaway Desert Elopement

This has to be one of my all time favorite shoots. Ever since I went to Joshua Tree last year, I've been dreaming of shooting there. And then this shoot came together in the best way. Out in the desert of California a group of amazing creatives and two gypsies in love created something wonderful. You can't take a bad photo out there, I swear. But enough of my words. See for yourself why the desert has stolen my runaway heart. And to top it all off, this shoot was published on Green Wedding Shoes, what a dream.

I must mention all the amazing creatives who collaborated on this shoot. First and foremost: Kacey House of A Bit of Spark & Sparkle Events. Kacey lives in California, and when I contacted her a mere few weeks before this shoot date with the idea, she was immediately all in. She's the one who brought together every last detail of the elopement inspiration planning and styling. Man is she good. And of course we must mention the babes who did all the hard work in front of the camera. Our models were Sarah & Josh Loven, a real life married couple who travels around in an airstream camper while running a blog, modeling, shooting photography & video, and making music (pretty impressive). They were so obviously in love and so down to earth that I can't help but hope we cross paths again soon. Here's the list of all the other talented folks involved:
